B. V. Raghavendra Rao, born in a family of musicians, received the rigorous training for several years from Sangeetha Kalanidhi T. N. Krishnan, and later received invaluable guidance form Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna. As a young artiste he has received the appreciation of the President of India for accompanying a musical genius. He has performed extensively all over the world, accompanying leading Carntic artists. Raghavendra's devotion and his quest for perfection finds its expression in his instrument.
